How to decide whether this place fits your trip, pace, and day.
Plan it when you are already in the Osaka area and want the meal to be a clear part of the day, not a stressful detour.

Do not chase hype if it breaks the route. Keep the restaurant close to the day's neighborhood.

About this place
Endo Sushi operates inside Osaka's Central Wholesale Market, and the hours reflect it — open from early morning, closed by early afternoon. The sushi is served as pairs of nigiri on small wooden geta boards: thick cuts of tuna, shrimp, mackerel, and whatever arrived at the market that morning. There are no seats. You stand at the counter, order a few boards, and eat. The fish is as fresh as it gets — some of it was swimming a few hours ago — and the shari (rice) is seasoned with Osaka-style sweetened vinegar. The atmosphere is entirely without pretence: market workers in rubber boots, fluorescent lighting, and the sound of styrofoam boxes being stacked. For Nordic visitors used to morning fish markets — Bergen, Gothenburg, Copenhagen — Endo Sushi will feel like familiar territory in unfamiliar dress.

How we work
Curation for Swedish travelers
We prioritize location, logistics, pace, and clear travel decisions over long generic lists.
Pages are checked for unique description, useful context, and a sensible link to city, season, and itinerary.
Recommendations should work before booking: you should understand why a place fits, what it costs, and when it is the right choice.
